About the Facility

The original barn has a 22 stall capacity and boasts an adjacent 175 x 275 stadium-lit, outdoor arena.  In August 2014, two additional shedrow barns were added to the property, adding 8 additional stalls.  All stalls are 12 x 12  and have at least one window-sized opening allowing ventilation, fresh air, and most have an outside view.  There is an indoor grooming room, as well as a separate wash rack with cold and hot water at the main barn.

In the spring of 2017, a new 75' x 132' (small dressage arena size) covered arena was added as well as an additional hitching post and triple outdoor wash bay by the shedrow barn.

Three large pastures subdivided into sections for rotation are located across the community entry avenue from the barn.  Each of these main fields feature a run-in shelter for shade and weather.  Surrounding the barn are additional well-sized pastures. There are numerous additional paddocks for smaller herds, elderly equines, and access to a few dry lots for stall horses with metabolic issues, one is lovingly dubbed the "Jenny Craig pasture" complete with run in shelter.

Barn members enjoy private equestrian access to 125 acres of TRDA community land with 10 miles of GPS trails and the ability to ride your horse into the water for a dip.  On the way to the trails is an obstacle course so that horses and riders could train and better prepare for some of the challenges of trail riding.

The barn is under recorded 24 hour video surveillance, inside and out.  The staff works full time, Monday-Sunday from 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (depending on season), and is often on the premises before and after hours.  For additional peace of mind, the barn and surrounding pastures are contiguous to a guardhouse, part of the gated community of Rarity Bay, and is manned 24/7.

For human convenience, the barn also has a roomy women's and men's restroom, each complete with its own shower.  Clients have a locked and organized tack room so everyone has room for their gear.  Trainers and owners also have a designated tack room and overflow room for additional gear.  The barn office on the premises can be found at the main entrance to the breezeway.

Combine the convenience of superb boarding in a serene setting accessible to modern conveniences with the "best trails in East Tennessee", according to our avid trail riding clients, and you have a winning combination that's hard to beat!
