Our Horses

We are a boarding barn primarily, so you will see a great variety and changing demographic of breeds at the barn that include: Arabians, Tennessee Walking Horses, Lippanzer, Quarter Horses, Quarabs, Ponies, and more.

White Stables has a great selection of barn horses that are available for lessons and trail rides, and some are also available for lease or purchase.  Find out more about the lease and sale horses on our Lease Horse Page and Sale Horse Page.  Because we offer instruction in various disciplines for a range of skill levels, our barn horses must also also have a broad spectrum of personalities, abilities, training experiences and performance levels.  Whether you are looking for an unintimidating equine to learn to ride on, an easy trail ride, a jumping horse, or a horse that can get you ready to show - White Stables has a horse that can do that!  And we don't discriminate between gaited or trotting, English or western.  We know riders have different preferences, or want to experiment to find what suits them best, at White Stables we have what you're looking for!

Mr Coppertop Tennessee Walking Horses

White Stables is proud to announce they purchased the last six Mr Coppertop offspring to be offered for sale out of the Singleton's farm in middle TN. Mr Coppertop (TWH, sire: Pride's Generator, dam: Delight's Good Lady) was named one of the most versatile horses of his breed, nicknamed the "Wonderhorse" because his intelligence, stamina, athleticism and disposition enabled him to excel in so many disciplines. Honors include: '94 World Champion Trail Pleasure, '97 & '00 World Champion Obstacle Trail, TWHBEA Supreme Versatility, WHOA ROM Versatility, '98 International Grand Champion O/A/T, '95 WHOA Overall High Point Horse, PWHAT Horse of the Year. Coppertop was the Singleton's long-standing stallion of choice, bred to mares selected from 43 years of breeding for more natural Walking Horses; talent, disposition and beauty are the qualities these mares are known for. The Singletons bred, raised, trained and showed their horses and now are ready to retire; we are thrilled to welcome these three geldings and three mares to their new home at White Stables: Mr Right (black gelding w/star), Mr Big Stuff (black gelding), Snoopy Coppertop (black gelding w/strip/snip and coronets), Summer Girl (chestnut mare w/star), Miss Hollywood (black mare), Miss Rose (chestnut mare w/star/snip).  Their breeding and upbringing are a winning combination that produce superior trail, pleasure, and show horses. They will become a part of the White Stables lesson, show, and trail riding program as well as our horse sales division. UPDATE: Four of these great horses found wonderful new homes; we are thrilled to still have Mr Right and Mr Big Stuff at White Stables as beginning lesson & trail riding horses, as well as camp favorites!

This horse does it all!  Jumps, trail rides, tricks, models, loves water, and is built for endurance.

Cloud is a 10 year old Arabian/Tennessee Walking Horse.  He is part of the jumping team at White Stables.  Used for advanced beginner through advanced lessons and part of our trail riding team.

Cloud must be our most versatile horse from being featured in Harper's Bazaar with Reese Witherspoon, to lesson and trail horse for beginners, to the pace horse with unbeaten time at our Hunter Pace, to gorgeous dressage and jumping horse for our Combined Training Schooling Show.

A Chief's Ransom
Arabian gelding

A perfect gentleman who has been showing all his life in the Arabian Saddle Seat Riding Style; Ransom is an English Country Pleasure champion who has been winning in Arabian A Circuit and Regional Shows.

Ransom is fancy enough for regional level shows and advanced riders, but well-mannered and willing enough for advanced beginners.  Ransom is available for select lessons for advanced beginners looking to advance in hunt seat and equitation.

Bonny Kate
Welsh Pony Mare

Bonny Kate is a 13hh, 11 year old Welsh pony. She has been ridden by confident beginner students learning to jump. She recently completed a one week kids' camp fresh from months untouched in the pasture, was ridden by a beginner youth rider who never jumped before, and won the Gambler's Choice at week's end. She competed in her first show this summer under WS ownership (showed hunter/jumper with previous owner) at a Dressage and Combined Training Show where she field jumped. She is brave and bold and afraid of nothing.

Have a blast riding her around the barn or show with this princess of pony who loves to jump and has a motor that's hard to beat!
